³¹The son^[a] of Appaim: Ishi.

The son of Ishi: Sheshan.

The son of Sheshan: Ahlai.

³²The sons of Jada, Shammai’s brother: Jether and Jonathan. (Jether died without having sons.)

³³The sons of Jonathan: Peleth and Zaza.

These were the descendants of Jerahmeel.

1 Chronicles 2:31 tn Heb “sons.” The Hebrew text has the plural “sons” in all three instances in this verse, even though the following lists have only one name each.
